Hi guys, I am back with another chapter, please vote and comment. Your inputs are highly appreciated and valuable. This is my first story and I need your feedback. Positive and negative both comments are acceptable.
At Mahi’s house
Mahi was getting ready to leave for office and she was running late as yesterday was her sister’s wedding. Mahi was running here and there to collect the things and keep in her office bag, she said “Mom I am running very late and i am leaving now” just then Suman comes and asks her to sit for 5 minutes and have her breakfast, but Mahi was in no mood, just then suman hold her hand and let her take a seat at the dining table, she said “Tu chahe jitni bhi late ho jaye bina kuch khaye tu ghar se bahar nahi ja sakti and you know this, right so just start eating otherwise you’ll get more late”.
Mahi: Mom, you won’t let me go without eating, na?
Suman calm as ever said, “never!”
Mahi then starts eating, and she left for office.
As soon as she reaches her office, she receives a call from her boss (Ronit) who asks her to come to his cabin.
Mahi enters the cabin and gets shocked after hearing what her boss has just said.
Ronit has informed her that one of his employees was beaten up by Rishabh Kapoor while interviewing him. (Yes, you read it right, Mahi is a journalist and she works for “News 360”. And the journalist who was beaten up was her colleague and best friend Krish).
She didn’t think of anything and run straight from his cabin to medical room where Krish was getting his first aid done. As soon as she sees Krish, she hurriedly went and hugged him. She looked at his injuries and asked if is it still hurting, to which Krish replied “I am absolutely fine and please you don’t worry, just don’t say anything to Suman Aunty.
Note: (Krish was Mahi’s childhood friend. They were neighbours, and the accident which took Mahi’s father’s life also took Krish’s parent’s life. Mahi and krish’s parents were best friends and business partners, they were out for some business related work when they lost their lives in a tragic accident. Khushi was 15, Krish was 13 and Mahi was 10 when this happened. Since then Suman has took care of all the three children. Krish loves her as his own mother. No kids were mature enough to continue their parent’s startup. Krish and Mahi works for same news channel)
Mahi assures Krish of not telling anything to Suman. She gives him the lunch box which Suman has given to her to give it to Krish as he left early in the morning. Mahi then receives a call and she instantly left the office driving her car.
As she was driving her car, she gets a call from suman and she asks her to come home early as khushi is coming for pagphera in the evening, hearing this an upset Mahi’s face was blossoming like a fresh flower.
she stops at a coffee shop to get her take away order but stops seeing something which made her blood boil with anger.

At Rishabh’s side
After the incident happened outside hotel, Kabir took Rishabh to a cafe in Model Town. Kabir was trying to cheer up Rishabh’s mood and orders his favourite coffee.
As Kabir handed over the coffee to him, Rishabh’s face was still gloomy and he said just one thing, “ I failed Kabir, I failed as a son, I failed as a brother. But that journalist, he shouldn’t have asked me that” with saying this Rishabh’s anger was still visible in his tone. Kabir tries to calm a dejected Rishabh. Rishabh being Rishabh, was not feeling any other emotions other than his anger.
Media get to know Rishabh’s location and gather outside the cafe.
Since the incident occurred previously, all the media was angry because of Rishabh’s actions and wanted answers from him.
As Rishabh steps out of cafe media has again surrounded and bombarded him with their questions and seeks answers for his previous actions.
Mahi was collecting her order from the nearby cafe and she sees media around a coffee shop and then she saw Rishabh Kapoor was in the centre. She was outraged at Rishabh’s actions for raising his hand on Krish. She furiously went there and within seconds she was in the centre facing Rishabh.
In no seconds, Rishabh felt a burning sensation on his cheek, yes Mahi slapped him hard which made Rishabh almost lost his balance and Kabir held him. When Rishabh raise his eyes to see the person who dared to raise her hand on him, he sees a girl who was so pretty that no one can took his eyes off her. She has the innocence in her eyes which is now showing only anger. But Rishabh was feeling only one emotion that was “anger” because no one has ever dared to touch him and this girl, this mere girl has just slapped him. But Mahi wasn’t done yet, she throws the whole cup of coffee on Rishabh which burns his face and chest. Rishabh was hell angry at her actions that he was about to retaliate but Kabir stops and took Rishabh with him.
Kabir took Rishabh straight to their hotel room in Aerocity. Rishabh’s anger was on the peak, he threw everything present in the room, he shattered every flower vase, every painting, glasses, tv. The whole room which was a presidential suite a few moments ago has now converted into a mess.
This whole incident which has just happened, even Kabir doesn’t know how to handle the situation. Kabir was just standing at a corner in the room when Rishabh said, “this is going to be the last mistake that girl has done in her life, she’s going to regret it every single second of her life”.
